الملخص :
عاش الزميل الدکتور/ السيد عويضة عدة سنوات في آخر عمره، معتکفاً داخل بيته إلا من خروجات متباعدة إلى کليته وقريته، فقد کان يعاني من متاعب بدنه وهموم حياته، تحت ظلال علاقته بربه تعالى، الذي يسجد له في سائر ليله ونهاره، ففي کل فريضة –ووفق استطاعته- يهبط بعض الطوابق من بيته؛ ليرفع الأذان والإقامة، داعياً الناس للصلاة وقراءة القرآن في المسجد الذي أقامه في منزله للعبادة، والتلاقي على النصيحة والکلمة الرشيدة، إلى أن وهن العظم، وضعف البدن، وثقلت الحرکة، فاستسلم للرقود اليقظ، والصحوة الواعية، لعظيم الأعمال التي تُعَبِّر عن دينه ولغته، وتهم أهله في محيطه الممتد إلى ذويه، خاصة في قريته التي ولد بها، ونشأ فيها، ثم حُمل إليها ليدفن تحت ثراها مع عظام الراحلين الذين طواهم النسيان.
وقد جمعتْ بيني وبينه الزمالة الراقية، والصداقة السامية، والمحبة المتبادلة، والزيارة الهادفة، ولم نختلف على الرأي الصواب والتناصح الرشيد.
ولکل زميل معه قصة معبأة بالحب والتقدير والإخلاص في العمل، والعدل في القيادة والمبادرة إلى عمل الخير وإسداء النصح والتوجيه السديد.
وقد ولد –رحمه الله- في الرابع من مارس عام 1947م في قرية (النمروط) التابعة لمرکز (فاقوس بمحافظة الشرقية) ولهذه القرية شهرة کبيرة في تميزها بأشياء کثيرة فهي قرية القرآن والقراء والعلم والعلماء.
وحفظ القرآن الکريم في طفولته التي تهيأ منها لدخول الأزهر الشريف الذي انتظم فيه، وبرز نجمه منذ تواصله في الدراسة من معهد إلى آخر إلى أن حصل على الشهادة الثانوية الأزهرية عام 1971م، بما أتاح له أن يلتحق بکلية اللغة العربية في القاهرة وأن يحصل منها على الإجازة العالية (الليسانس) عام 1975م بتقدير جيد جداً، وعين معيداً في کلية اللغة العربية بالزقازيق عام 1976م، وتزوج وأنجب البنين والبنات، وأقام بمدينة الزقازيق وسافر في إعارتين إلى الأردن والسعودية ونال الأستاذية في الأدب والنقد عام 1992م، وترقى في العمل الإداري حتى صار عميداً لکلية اللغة العربية بالزقازيق، إلى أن أتمَّ القدْر المسموح به فتحول إلى أستاذ متفرغ في الأدب والنقد إلى حين وفاته في يوم الجمعة الثامن من صفر عام 1442هـ -الخامس والعشرين من سبتمبر عام 2020م رحمه الله رحمةً واسعة.

Our colleague, Dr. Al-Sayed Owaida, lived for several years  at the end of his life, inclined to be   inside his house, except for distant hangouts to his college and his village.where he suffered from troubles of his body and his life's concerns under the shadow of his relationship with God Almighty who  kneels him all night and day.  Every  prayer - upon his ability - he descends some floors of his house; To raise the call to prayer and the iqaamah, calling people to pray and read the Qur’an in the mosque that he built in his house for worship, and to converge on advice and the rational word, until the bone weakness, the weakness of the body, and the heavy movement, so he surrendered to the awake sleep, and the conscious awakening, to the great deeds that express his religion and language, and concern His family extended to his relatives, especially in the village in which he was born and grew up, then was carried there to be buried under its dust along with the bones of the departed who had been forgotten.
What gathered  me and him  was classy fellowship, lofty friendship, mutual love, and purposeful visit, and we did not disagree on the right opinion and rational advice.
Each colleague has a story with him filled with love, appreciation, sincerity in work, justice in leadership, initiative to do good, and giving advice and sound guidance.
 
He was born - may God have mercy on him - on the fourth of March, 1947 AD in the village of (Al-Nimrout), which is affiliated to the center of (Faqous, Sharkia Governorate).
This village has a great reputation for being distinguished by many things. It is the village of the Qur’an, the reciters, Science and the scholars.
He memorized the Noble Qur’an in his childhood, from which he prepared to enter Al-Azhar, his career started   since he continued studying from one institute to another until he obtained the Al-Azhar secondary certificate in 1971 AD, which allowed him to join the Faculty of Arabic Language in Cairo and obtain a license  (Bachelor’s) in 1975 with a very good grade. He was appointed as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Arabic Language in Zagazig in 1976. He married and had sons and daughters. He dwelled   in the city of Zagazig and traveled on loan to Jordan and Saudi Arabia. He was awarded a professorship in literature and criticism in 1992 AD, he  was promoted in administrative work until he became dean of the Faculty of Arabic Language in Zagazig, until he completed the permitted amount ,then turned into a full-time professor in literature and criticism until his death on Friday, the eighth of Safar 1442 AH - the twenty-fifth of September in the year 2020 AD, may God have mercy on him
