الملخـــــــص
تهدف الدراسة إلي إلقاء الضوء على أهمية النشاط التجاري في إقليم تريبوليتانيا خلال العصر الروماني, وبيان دور موقع الإقليم في ذلك, وتوضيح أصل ومدلول الاسم مع بيان تأسيس مدن الإقليم الثلاث, مع ابراز الحالة السياسية للإقليم خلال فترة الدراسة, وبيان أهم السلع التجارية التي ساهمت في النشاط التجاري مثل: زيت الزيتون والقمح والنبيذ والعاج والأخشاب والأسماك والأمفورات وغيرها, والتي تم جلبها من داخل الإقليم ومن مختلف المناطق الخارجية والمحيطة به, ودور الحيوانات مثل الأسد والدب والفيل الأفريقي واستخدامها في التجارة وفي حلبات المصارعة داخل المسارح الرومانية, مع توضيح دور الطرق الرومانية البرية والبحرية والضرائب والعملة في زيادة النشاط التجاري للإقليم, ودور الأسواق في خدمة النشاط التجاري للرومان في مختلف مدن الإقليم.

Abstract
The study aims to shed light on the importance of Commercial activity in the Tripolitania region during the Roman era and to show the role of the region's Location in that, an explanation to the origin and meaning of the name, along with an explanation of the founding of the three cities of the region, with highlighting the Political situation of the region during the study period, and showing the most important commercial commodities that contributed to commercial activity such as Olive oil, wheat, wine Ivory, wood,, fish, amphorae, and others, and which were brought from within the region and from various external and surrounding areas, The role of animal such as the lion, bear and African elephant and their use in the trade and in the gladiatorial arenas inside Roman theatres. with Clarification of the role of the Roman land and sea Roads, Taxes and Currency in increasing the Commercial activity of the region. The role of Markets in Serving the Romans Commercial activity in Various cities of the region.
